Why enroll in the University College of International Relations and Diplomacy?
- There is no other specialized school of higher education in Croatia that educates and trains students for this specific educational profile. The related colleges do not offer such a unique specialization in international relations and diplomacy.
- The Ministry for Foreign Affairs organizes only short informational courses for their staff within their Diplomatic Academy.
- There is not a single institution in the Republic of Croatia that provides a systematic, interdisciplinary education for personnel seeking careers in international relations and diplomacy. However, a number of European countries have long designed particular study programs in international relations and diplomacy with the key purpose of preparing personnel to be included immediately in particular jobs.
- Croatias recent accession to NATO and the ongoing process of EU membership negotiations, combined with increasing numbers of international corporations and institutions entering the Republic of Croatia and southeastern Europe requires young people educated in the field of international relations and diplomacy.
